Explanation
All the colors in the spectrum have their own vibrational frequency, and all can be beneficial to you in different ways.
- We can develop a “color excess” usually if we are exposed to too much of a certain color on a continual basis and are not balanced out by exposure to other colors, or if there is an associated imbalance causing the problem.
- Below is a list of basic colors, with some variations of each listed in parentheses to help you narrow it down even more, if desired. The color excess will most likely show up as one of these, even if the actual color vibration is slightly different.
- Pink (ballet pink, fuschia)
- Red (salmon, maroon)
- Orange (peach, brown)
- Yellow (cream, goldenrod)
- Green (lime, mint, forest, emerald, olive)
- Blue (baby blue, cyan, electric blue, turquoise, royal, navy)
- Indigo (cornflower, midnight)
- Violet (lavender, purple, plum)
- White
- Black (grey)
Decoding
Ask: Is there an excess of _______? (Fill in the blank using list above)
- Once you’ve identified the color, continue to Association.
Association
Return to the home page and ask: What associated imbalance needs to be decoded and released in order for you to be okay with this color?
- Decode and release any associated imbalance(s), then return here and go to Intention.
Intention
Find the opposite color on the color wheel (found easily online). For example, if you had an excess of red, the opposite of that color is green.
- Now expose yourself to more of that opposite color, to balance out the excess.
- This can be through wearing clothing of that color family, looking at pictures of that color, visiting buildings containing that color, finding that color in nature, etc.
- Going forward, make an effort to balance out your exposure to all the colors on the spectrum.
