Explanation 

A miasm is a reverberation of a sickness, just like a sickness memory, however it is inherited from an ancestor. 

  • A miasm starts out just like a sickness memory— a vibrational frequency that develops in a person when they have a sickness that isn’t able to be processed completely. Then that sickness memory energy is later inherited by a child that the person conceives. The energy is then known as a miasm.
  • A miasm contains information about the whole sickness. It may have the potential to be very imbalancing to the energy field, creating problems both emotional and physical wherever the energy is trapped in the body. 
  • It is possible that a miasm could cause a chain of the same sickness to develop in all generations who inherited it. However, it is not important to identify the exact sickness that created this initially. 

Decoding 

Step 1: 

Ask: Did you inherit this from your mother? 

  • If yes, note this.
  • If no, it was inherited from your father— note this.  
    • Move to step 2.

Step 2:

Ask: Did that parent inherit it? 

  • If no, move to Step 3.
  • If yes, determine which of their parents it came from. 
    • Repeat this basic process as needed, until you find the original ancestor who created the energy. 
    • If it is older than three or four generations, it may not be important to identify its precise lineage. At this point, you can ask: Does this go back further? 
    • If yes, you can simply identify the total number of generations. 
      • Ask: Does this go back ten generations? 
        • If yes, ask: Does this go back 15 generations? In this fashion, narrow it down until you find the exact generation when the energy occured  (e.g. 16 generations back). 
  • Optional: If the person that you are working with has children, you might also ask: Did any of your children inherit this miasm? If yes, you can ask who did and who didn’t. 
  • Once you have identified the genealogy of this miasm, move to Step 3.

Step 3: 

Ask: Is it necessary to identify more about this miasm?

  • If no, move to Association.
  • If yes, you may need to identify the location in the body. 
    • Use a process of elimination to locate this. The Systems section in Circuit or System>Systems may be helpful. 
  • When you do not need to know more, move to Association. 

Association 

Ask: Is there an associated imbalance that needs to be decoded?

  • If no, move to Intention.
  • If yes (likely), return to the home page, decode and address any associated imbalance(s), then return here and repeat the above question. 

Intention 

Swipe ten times with a magnet or your hand on any length of the governing meridian, while holding the intention to release the miasm.
