Explanation
Spinal discs are “shock absorbers” between the vertebrae that help to transmit weight down the spinal column, supporting the spine and allowing us to move, twist and bend our bodies. Without discs, no movement would occur in the spine. Sometimes, spinal discs can become severely damaged and require surgery. In our experience, it’s far more common that spinal discs will become misaligned.
Common symptoms of upper thoracic disc misalignment may include:
- Discomfort, numbness, weakness or tingling in the upper limbs
- Discomfort in the upper back
- Stiffness in the upper back
- Heart palpitations
- Digestive issues
- Lung issues and difficulty breathing
If you have been guided to this page by the subconscious mind through testing, it indicates a misalignment is present. Remember that most of the time, misalignments are caused by the distorting effect of some associated imbalance such as a trapped emotion.
Decoding
It may be necessary to determine the exact Disc that is misaligned.
Ask: Is it necessary to identify more about this misalignment?
- If no, continue to Association.
- If yes, use the following list to determine the disc that is misaligned.
- T1 – T2 Disc
- T2 – T-3 Disc
- T3 – T4 Disc
- T4 – T5 Disc
- T5 – T6 Disc
Association
Ask: Is there an associated imbalance that needs to be decoded?
- If no, skip to Intention.
- If yes, return to the home page, decode and address any associated imbalance(s), then return here and repeat the above question.
Intention
Swipe three times with a magnet or your hand on any length of the governing meridian, while holding an intention to correct the misalignment.
- It’s important to note that some of the time, surgical intervention is the appropriate treatment for disc problems. Persistent or worsening numbness, tingling or weakness in the upper limbs is a sign that should be taken seriously and an appropriate medical professional should be consulted.
