Explanation
General chakra information:
- “Chakra” literally translates to “wheel’ in Sanskrit. Chakras are swirling wheels or disks of energy that are located at various points in the body. Chakras work as channels for the physical body’s energy.
- Each of the 7 main chakras should be centered at the spinal column, with a balanced, open and fluid flow of energy. Chakras can become misaligned as well as energetically imbalanced. This is often due to associated imbalances located in the area. An associated imbalance may or may not have an obvious relationship to the chakra’s particular qualities or connected body parts.
- The Chakras represent different planes of consciousness. The higher the chakra is located on the physical body, the higher the level of consciousness.
The heart chakra is located in the center of the spine to the front of the heart.
- It is energetically linked with the heart, the thymus gland, the skin, and the hands.
- It is associated with the colors green and pink.
- The heart chakra is connected to the ability to feel compassion, unconditional love and kindness toward others. It collects happy energy with proper breathing.
Decoding
You’ve already identified the imbalanced chakra. Continue to Association.
Association
Ask: Is there an associated imbalance that needs to be decoded?
- If no, move to Intention below.
- If yes, return to the home page, decode and address any associated imbalance(s), then return here and repeat the above question.
Intention
Swipe three times with a magnet or your hand on any length of the governing meridian, while holding the intention to reset the heart chakra.
- To help rebalance this chakra, you could consider:
- Meditation focused on self love, compassion for self and others, and how to love more.
- Hugging your loved ones more often!
- Doing an act of service for a friend, family member or stranger on a regular basis. (Something as simple as a smile can work miracles.)
- Breathwork or breathing exercises.
- Expressing your love for others more often (where safe and appropriate.)
